Q: "Why is fate determined on having me experience the same feeling again and again?"
It is not fate that has you determind to feel the same experience again and again. I have felt it many times, and I know I will feel it many times more in life. It is due to the fact that nothing satisfies. NOTHING. Nothing except Him, and His Perfect Plan.

But does it help to know I cried a bit too?

Concerning Famous authors, stories, their art and the effects they have created in our world:
Yes. Those are great books. Great stories.

Published ones too!

I have agonized long and hard about this. P.D. could not possibly be published, and make such a difference. Not unless we did a complete re-write, to the point where it would not be KOTOS anymore. We'd have to take out Legos, because that's copyrighted. Take out Barney, Take out Elmo, replace, gain permission, or alter thousands of characters from old knights...
As much as I'd love to spend my life making that work... I do not have that time, nor do I see any Glory for my God in it.
Now, if someone could show me there is Glory in it, if God wants me to make this work, then ABSOLUTEY, sign me up. But as of right now, I am not being led to do that. However, I cannot say that will never be the case, because I do not know His Perfect Plan for my life. Something I have always been a little irritated with. :P

As for all of us becoming writers, or doing other more "serious" stories, that we could actually publish, YES, I still get very excited about that! I know Jonna still aspires to write. I know I do too now, (But there is no way I'm quitting my day job. :P ) which is something I may never have explored if not for this group...

Just as Legos are an undeniable part of my childhood, you guys are going to be a part of my... uh, teens? Formative years? :P (was going to say childhood, but that's stretching it a bit...) Whatever I (and I'm sure this goes for Jonna as well) write, if anything, in the future... it's because of you guys.

Concerning Stirling:
Daggnabbit. Fine. When I first read this response, I must confess, I was pretty sure you'd all say 'no' to killing him off, but I did not expect you to go off ranting about a 'grand epic storyline.' :P I'm deeply humbled. and irritated. and happy. and solemn. all at the same time. The sort of 'grand epic' you describe is exactly what Stirling never wanted. Which of course makes him perfect for the role.

  • sigh*

Concerning a few things:

Ok, down to business.
Yes, Wiz, as president of the lore and continuity committee, I will privatly discuss my future plans for TDD2, Carson, Thunderclap Keep, Jean-Claude, Emily, Mrs. Richardson and Mrs. Silverstine, Peter, and... who am I missing...?Oh, Mynos, Strider, and...Ah, the Merry band...Perry and Menaya...

I think that's it...? :P

Lastly: Read your writing? OF COURSE. Now, more than ever, I will be the strange Uncle who comes and visits, pretending he's always there, and throws everyone off-kilter, before he leaves to go exploring the great unknown for another lenghty period of time, till the point where everyone assumes he's dead, whereupon I will reappear and disrupt the natural flow of things yet again! :P
In fact, make that my title. 'Your Crazy Uncle who Drops in at the worst possible times of the year.' (Or paraphrase, you get the idea. :P )
