Salutations, knights. I'll try to keep this short and sweet
because I have a tendency to ramble. I'm afriad the time has
come for me to sign off in regards to a lot of things, around
here. No, I'm not dying. :P But I am not going to be able to
contribute with writing, drawing, etc. in the future like I had
hoped.
Earlier this week I was very convicted that I am not spending
my free time how I should be. In fact I've been fighting that
feeling for a while. You all know I am a Christian. I feel led
by Jesus to be spending less time goofing off, and more time
looking forward to what God has for my life; and I don't think
this is it.
I'm employed full-time now (bet you guys didn't see that
coming! :P) and my time has gotten more limited. And now that
it's come down to choosing between giving what's left of my
time to the KotOS, or giving my time to my family, I of course
need to be there for my family.
There has been a season- a very long season- in my life during
which I could spend time being silly (in the good sense of the
word) with you guys, on the LMBs, wikia, discord. And that was
perfectly fine. Much to my disappointment, that season has
ended, and I'm called elsewhere. It's probably harder for me to
cope with than it is for you guys. :P I'm not leaving forever,
but I didn't want to pull a Thingguy and not give you a heads
up. I'll still pop in once every blue moon, more or less. I
just won't be able to keep up with all the exciting things
happening, or write for the wikia. If you want to reach me, you
can let Strider know, or send me a DM on discord, or let me
know on the wikia. I'll see it eventually and reply. Strider
has his own standpoint on all this, and he's made his own post
explaining his point of view.
Perhaps the day will come when God opens a new door and I'll be
able to participate once again. There is NO WAY I am going to
shut myself off from that possibility. But if it doesn't/until
that day comes, thanks for letting me join in all the stories,
drawings, and roleplays. They've inspired me greatly. Thanks
for goofing off with me, and tolerating me when I didn't act
very nicely. Thanks for caring enough to migrate over several
websites just so we could all keep in touch. As far as online
friends go, you guys are the best of the best, and I am
grateful.
Fow now, farewell; at least until the next time I log on.
God bless.
P.S. Wikia formatting, how I loath you.
