Oh! Very good, very good! I really like it. Very well executed so far. I like the detail you went into for this.
Might I point out some minor things, though? They shouldn't affect the story. One thing is that Nordland is not in fact a kingdom. Most of it is inhabited by Nordener nomads. There is, however, a kingdom based on North Island, usually noted either as North Island or as Ãyaben (though the original name seemed to be Ãyabyen, ha!). They probably have claims over the whole of Nordland, so the titles Prince and Maid of Nordland would still be fit, especially for non-Nordeners.
The other is more of a question, but wouldn't it technically be more appropriate for McLiola to be declared the Duke of Kingston by thedude?
Finally, I'd like to make sure that you bear in mind that thedude's presence would probably manifest in the form of Paradox Rogues and even some Barney Bots here and there and the revolutionaries will most likely have to fight such enemies as well as the locals. I don't know what you're planning, but it's just that thedude seemed like a very faraway figure in this chapter that didn't affect what went on internally in Britay, so I wanted to make sure.
But to leave things on a good note, I really do like the chapter. You've got an interesting writing style and I'm definitely looking forward to more.
