I'm not sure if dialog between Wiz and Azira's apprentice changed and the details of battle with the yellow eyed fellow changed. These final two sections of the story (the convention and battle) seem at a faster pace than the first segment, which makes sense as that is where most of the new content is, I believe.
There seems primarily lots more about Wiz's childhood in the village, including his relationship with his parents, it's interesting how they are from a more technologically and socially advanced place but chose to come to the village. There's some similarities to the Talmid family there, which I should write sometime. Garvus is somebody now and the village itself is now a world, with the priests and the various families introduced and involved. Nice mystery with the Perraut girl, I wonder what's to come from that.
It's great to be back at the beginning. You've done an amazing feat, completing a rewrite, and it brings the beginning of Wiz's story up to contemporary standards of writing. It's magnificent.
