I was 100% expecting Odcysgod to transform him into a squirrel, right then and there, and I was suprised when he didn't do it.
Then he transformed them all a little while later and I was satisfied. :P
I really liked how the story revealed the thoughts of the king in response to the events that occured. It did a great job of characterizing how lazy and arrogant he was.
