From here on the events of the chapters are going to start intertwining in ways even their protagonists don't realize. That is the beauty of a story like this. That means that many of the confusing but interesting things thronw out by Charles in Chapter 16 will get explained in the coming chapters, that I assure you. Things are gonna git gud.
