Yeah, he does. The issue was that when I started writing C&E I introduced the minor character of Barc as someone Talmid knew and dealt with before, but when reviewing Perpetual Doom it didn't make sense that Talmid would meet him in between their arrival and his imprisonment, so he had to have known him someway else.
