Just to let you know, KF/Impulse is not exactly like Peragrine... I went searching for a better comparison, and came up dry. I'll keep looking, because I KNOW I've run across Peragrine act-alikes before, and I remember asking myself what made Peragrine special... If only I could remember who that was!
