@ Stirling: Let me assure you, any super-language-grammar expertise that I may have is offset by my terrible spelling. :P But at least I didn't misspell grammar as "grammer!" :P Nor did I misspell thorough as "thourough!' :P In my day to day life, I don't pay much heed to grammar; I only shift into grammar nerd mode only when I'm proofreading something or taking an English test. :P For the most part, I spend most of my time in video game nerd mode and/or board game nerd mode, occasionally shifting into math nerd mode because math is awesome. :P
Just out of curiosity...if I never came off as the super-language-grammar expert to you, how did I come of as? Just wonderin'.
