As I have said to myself before, assumptions are dangerous things.
It does sound more natural, but I'm not sure what we should do with it. Perhaps, both words exist.
As for the map, do people not pay attention to my explanations of things, or are they too complicated? My idea of the blank state was that the map should actually be a blank paper.
