Not Quite sure how this is turning out... :PÂ I decided to try and do the various incarnations of S.O.Shadow.
This also reminded me of another scene that I started to do back when I was on paper, of S.O.Shadow and Co, running from a Dragon in a scene from The Great Battle. I think I'll try to redo that too. I remember drawing the Dragon head VERY well, but the Engineer gear on Strange himself turned out to be too dificult a challenge at the time. :P
Tell me what you think I should tweak! Â This picture is far from finalized. Is there any other incarnations you'd like specifically? I want to improve my drawing skillz as always, and you are the perfect guinea pi- err, patien- ah, tester! :P
Technically, these are things I did with Magical Fire Monkey. When I played Strange Odd Shadow there was neither trial faction gear nor the Spider Queen. However, as I did not roleplay as Tony with Magical, but just acted as I felt, I thought it'd be appropriate to have Shadow do these things.
I believe I chose Daredevil because he was cool, I didn't like Summoner that much and I'd already done some Engineer anyway. In the story, it is explained due to Shadow's mother, though I don't remember if that's just in the rewrite. I don't know what I was thinking about the Spider Queen. I suppose the idea came to me and I saw it as a challenge to try. Eventually, I succeeded. Good thing to have to brag about. I intend to try it again when DLU comes out! :P
As for the drawings. They're not bad. I wonder if you could try for Shadow's notorious messy hair. Legend has it he managed to brush it once for his wedding, but didn't like it and messed them up again! :P Perhaps, you should try to draw the cleverness on his face on the next one. And it'd be nice to see other members of the FFFFF Team as well.
As for the dragon scene, if you were drawing the moment where the dragon breathes fire on Magical's shield while they're descending a stairway, then that's one big coincident. This is one of my favourite scenes to picture as an image. I do believe that was what I wanted for the book's cover, if ever I could get the image. If you made the dragon drawing, too, I wouldn't complain.
It's okay. Feel free to test. The more, the merrier. The better they are in the end, the merrier! :P
