Concerning AM: Whether you edit it is up to you. The AM is awesome either way.

Concerning the Book of Morcia: While it could be possible that Vladek was unable to completely decipher the book, which is why he is only seen using magical objects. However, this would not explain why everyone else in Knight's Kingdom is only seen using magical artifacts. Granted, we haven't seen too many people besides Vladek use magic in Knight's Kingdom. King Matthias was able to spy on Vladek's invading armies by reading from a book (possibly The Book of Morcia, though I'm not completely sure) while using a crystal ball. King Jayko used the Heart of the Shield of Ages (THotSoA) to deflect Vladek's magic lightning and to create forcefiels. I think he also used it to seal Vladek into a crystal ball, though comic was slightly vague on the details of that one. The Guardian who guarded THotSoA also used a magic spear, I think. I'm not agains the idea that Vladek simply hasn't figured out all the secrets of the Book of Morcia, but it wouln't explain why all other uses of magic are also artifact based. The "new magics" the Grey Wizard explored in Ankoria could be magic that isn't limited to artifacts, which would explain the Morcian trend of artifact magic. Of course, just because something is Knight's Kingdom canon doesn't mean it has to be KotOS canon, but I personally think that it should be, if only becuase we have already made so much of Knight's Kingdom KotOS canon already. Plus it'd be cool. :P

Speaking of The Heart of the Shield of Ages, are we planning on including it in KotoS? Thingguy included the Guardian in SA, heavily implying the existance of THotSoA. I'm not sure where it would fit in the storyline if we did include it, though. Nonetheless, see the above reason for its inclusion (It'd be cool). :P

Thanks for reposting your book of Morcia backstory. :D

Firstly, I would like to point out that the Book would be really really hard to decipher, so everyone would find it very very difficult to understand just some of it, not just Vladek. Maybe the artefact part is the easiest part or the first part or both. That's why probably almost everyone that got a chance to read the book didn't have enough time to get further, gave up too soon, because they were making very slow progress or just couldn't decipher anything else. The rest of the Morcian Magicians would continue doing such magic as tradition and as the only magic they learnt from the ones who only learnt this magic from the book.

Was the Guardian part of Knight's Kingdom? I didn't know that. However, I don't think everything can be canon considering the fact that we wouldn't have Jayko for a King, would we? And can you explain what the Heart of the Shield of Ages does?

So then all Morcian magicians learned their magic by reading the Book of Morcia? That could work. (Although I'm still a strong advocater for the idea I proposed. :P)

The Guardian guarded the Heart of the Shield of Ages. That's all he did in the comics, and he had no other appearances other than that.

I was thinking that after thedude and Vladek are defeated, King Matthias wants to make Jonna Queen, but she declines because she would prefer to go on adventures as a knight to all the dull duties required of a Queen. So Matthias crowns Jayko instead, due to his help fighting Vladek.

In the comics, it is implied that Jayko is crowned immediately after he defeats Vladek for the first time. However, it is not explicitly stated, so in KotOS canon there would be a large gap between Vladek's first defeat and the crowning of Jayko.

The HotSoA has been shown to deflect magic lightning and create a spherical forcefield that can block boulders. It also seemed to have some part in trapping Vladek in a crystal ball. I think THotSoA shattered this crystal ball that was conviniently placed in the middle of this shrine place and then reformed the crystal ball around Vladek, trapping him inside. The comics are quite unclear. The boulder-blocking forcefield was used twice; the first time it was small enough to just surround the user. The second time, it was much larger, and it protected an entire seige engine (it might have even other seige engines as well, but the perspective in the comic makes it difficulte to determine the forcefield's exact size.) THotSoA has nearly always been placed on the user's shield in order to access it's power. For example, when Jayko was fighting Vladek, the HotSoA did not do anything while it was in his pouch, but activated when he put it on his shield. However, a single exception to this rule is seen when it was used to create the large, seige-engine-protecting forcefields. This was done by putting THotSoA on some sort of fancy pedestal atop the seige engine. THotSoA's origins are unkown, but I would think that it is probably pretty important in some way or another since it was guarded both by traps and by the Guardian.
