Ah, yeah. xP Being called Knights did make it easy to mistake us a typical (Sentinel) Knights versus Paradox rivalry group. xD
Actually I thought of something concerning the Paradox, I wonder what more we can think up about how the Paradox Rogues came to be
Being a Rogue subfaction, it makes sense that it grew in Paradox since Paradox is the most independent of the factions, and the farthest away from any "governing" structure, whatever there may be, in the Nexus Force. Perhaps a lot of rebels joined Paradox's ranks as its intrinsically rebellious nature appealed to them. In fanfictions we like to depict the Paradox Faction as doing controversial things and being the most radical faction, not restrained by, say, restrictive guidelines on at least R&D conduct. :P
Would it make sense for Paradox to conscript the Universe's ex-cons and criminals to its ranks? It'd make an interesting character backstory, wouldn't it?
So all these things make it easy for a group like the Rogues to pick Paradox to foster in.
I had a similar idea that when the Faction War broke out, many criminal and/or independent people, the "scum of the society" joined the Rogues. However, I imagined them as non-related to the Nexus Force prior to that.
