Firstly, I extend my gratitude to FFFFFplayer for taking action to galvanize this project.
Secondly, I break down into panic because now I'm going to have to find time for SA. :P
Concerning what happens after the map: my initial thought is that they would have to split up to quickly gather all the scattered knights/allies, also because larger groups will be more easily noticed and smashed by thedude. However, there is only one map and as we've established, it cannot be split between parties. This is an interesting problem which is both great to show struggle in the narrative, and awful because we have to actually figure out how to solve it. :P
Perhaps Dewin and Iamos can somehow fix the problem with their magic/alchemy. They can have the map with them and be magically directing all the other knights from afar, instructing them where to go. Or Dewin could manipulate the enchantment so that it doesn't affect them, gives everyone Iphones and they can Skype their way to victory. :D
Or not.
I unfortunately do not have time to brainstorm further right now. The writing list/exceptions sounds good, the title sounds good, it all sounds good! I assume that whoever posts the first chapter will post the new topic? Anyway, I will continue to ponder the post-map situation and will be back to see what you guys think of it.
I was thinking of the particular order of things: N_B's chapter of stealing the piece --> (possible intermediate chapter by Talmid -->) Iamos's introductory chapter by Harold --> Drumr's introductory chapter by Drumr --> Dewin's introductory chapter by me --> we continue as we see fit then.
Drumr's chapter could take place in between any of these chapters, I think, but it seems to me this is the best spot.
Ποriginally had thought that they might use messenger pigeons, but that sets the question: Why do they need the map for that and why didn't they do that already? Perhaps, thedude somehow is intercepting pigeon-communication, so it's all alright.
I like the idea of Dewin guiding the others.
