It's rather ironic, how just when I figured, 'Hey, we're in Classics now, at least we'll never have to go through another merge' the message boards would be shut down in their entirety. I should have noted the warning signs but I just didn't think something of this measure would happen.
What is to be the future of our multi-writer? With the loss of the LMBs, the only options immediately apparent would be to continue it on the galleries, or to transition it entirely to this wikia. The galleries have the benefit of being accessable by all readers and writers. But their format is quite a drawback, as they're not made for long chapters like the ones we write. This wikia isn't accessable by everyone, but is essentially unlimited insofar as space, illustrations, etc. go. We could also continue doing what we've done on the LMBs, posting the stories on both platforms.
In the end, I'm not too heartbroken. Yes, I'm sad to lose the LMBs, but I'll be okay. They haven't been the same since the SoLU forum closed anyway. I'll still be able to keep in touch with all you guys and everyone on the gallery, we're going to be able to save all our stories in offline versions or on here. And really it was only all my friends that made that website have any meaning. If I've still got you guys and everyone else, I can let go of it.
