People, this is an important moment for me. It is the time of a milestone...
With this edit, I reach 1000 edits to the wiki!!!
HURRAH!I think it's time
for a...
FLASH FORWARD!!!
whoooooooosh [official flash forward sounds]
- Jonna's grandchildren have now all graduated from high school and gone their separate ways all across America. Or not. Either way, today, they have all assembled at their parents'(/uncles') house, having dinner together*
- Grandma Jonna is there, too, as well as Gruncle James, because why not? It gives me the opportunity of calling him Gruncle*
- Jonna opens her mouth to speak*
"Have I ever told you about..."
- There is a collective groan*
"Yes, mother".
"Oh, no!".
"Not again!".
"Oh, I remember that one!".
"I'm sure I've never told you this story before".
"That's whay you said last time", Grandchild #3 (I was tempted to say #33) replied.
- Suddenly, the glass behind Jonna breaks and an old man enters through it*
"You have a family dinner and don't invite me?" he asks.
"You realise, of course, you are not from our family", replies a Jonnason (get it? Jonna's son?).
"Nonsense, I am your uncle George", somehow finding his way to a chair.
"We really have no idea who you are", a Jonnadottir says.
"Never heard of a Gruncle George", grandchild #6 speaks.
"Surely, your memory is failing. Besides if I am not your Gruncle, then how am I going to tell you this story in two seconds?".
"What do y-".
"Have I ever told you of the story of when I reached a thousand edits in the KotOS wiki? It was pretty sleek! I was the first one to reach the milestone. Yeah, I was so proud".
"Should we care?" grandchild #2 asks grandchild #1.
"I don't think so. He's not even our grandmother".
- The stranger keeps talking like that until the police arrives, earlier called after he broke in. As the man is carried out, though he continues to speak*
"Indeed it shows how I was the most active of them all. Proven by the amount of Additional Manuscripts I've written. Indeed I have written one thousand seven hundred fourty three of them. A great record in comparison to Harold's nine hundred seventy eight. He takes second place, of course, but...".
The ending of the sentence was never heard by them as the man was forced out of the house and into the police car.
- There was awkward silence for a moment, then Jonna spoke*
"You know that was my friend!".
- After collective face palms and awkward silences commence, Jonna finally speaks again*
"Anyway, where were we? Oh yes! Have I ever told you the story of..."
whoooooosh!
Back to the Present.
Okay, I'm going to give you some time to admire the 1000 number before I make my next edit.
Quality over quantity my friend! :P
- Despite saying this, I immediately begin spamming random, meaningless edits such as removing spaces at the ends of paragraphs and adding superfluous commas in an attempt to increase my quantity of edits.* :P
