Whether it is five years later is debatable, I don't see how it's important, but Tain was probably immediately brought to Thunderclap Keep, assuming the dungeons were ready at the time.

That is a brilliant IDEA!!! That would also explain the couple month long gap in between TDDs end and where he (and one other, right Wiz? ;) ) are scheduled to re-appear. Tain has to take care of that first. Assuming he would know, or have the sensibility to check. (Since he is last heard in TDD taking Peter with Loden to a underground hospital of some sort...)
Sounds good.
I was hoping that Tain at least got to see Moira before being imprisoned in Thunderclap Keep, which is why Wiz *hint hint hint* should first have Tain be imprisoned in the Moorlands before ending up with Maleisus in Thunderclap Keep. File:Emotion-4.gif

Mikhaila's words to Tain are a reference to the treatment he's gonna get as a captured traitor (most probably including tortures and an empty life of nothing, awaiting for the liberating moment of death). Mikhaila herself didn't have any plans for him. Her role was to capture him; it was up to thedude and Maleisus to decide on his punishment. While to some people suggesting that a tracking chip was necessary might have seemed insulting (suggesting that thedude's dungeons are not enough to hold people in), it seems a lot more plausible that Mikhaila placed one in Tain's body in case he managed to escape while they were on their way to imprisonment. So, it could still be there when Tain gets free, but Tain would probably know about it, indeed resulting in removing it at some point. The months between the escape and the Moorland Raid, in my mind, have until now accounted for Perry and Tain's travelling (the distances aren't really that short, especially when you're hiding and walking) and planning. While I may have said that Tain's first priority would be to free Moira, he wouldn't attempt it without a plan giving him a fair chance of success. Finally, as to Tain's being brought to the Moorlands before Thunderclap Keep, even though I see that this is probably for some story of yours, I am afraid it seems rather unreasonable that he'd brought there. It's too much out of the way. If he were to be housed in another big prison of thedude's before Thunderclap, it'd most probably be Orlan's prison.

However, if it is indeed for a story, I am willing to make a trade, so that you're not disappointed. While Tain probably wouldn't be there, I've been thinking that maybe Major is kept in the Moorlands Camp.

I could go back and make paragraphs out of this, but naaaah!

I acshually suggest these things not as a writer but as an eager reader who evidently reads too much into little things! File:Emotion-4.gif I understand if Tain goes straight to prison then and accept that his story continues after TDD, not before.  Besides, I'm not sure what kind of new story could take place in the before time period, in the setting of the dungeons, about Tain.

There is one story of mine in the time period of 5yt and it is Charcoal & Embers.  Sir Talmid is destined to be put back in Orlan's Dungeon, so maybe he'd see Tain there, but for what impact on the story I'm not sure....
