The chat is really laggy everytime I try using it.  It could be my browser on my particular computer?  Since I don't have as much, or maybe I get different that is the same as everyone else, lag issues with my faster laptop.

I think it's a bit laggy for all of us nowadays. The Wikia Chat is still in an experimental stage and our having overloaded with additional JS elements might not be the best.

But perhaps we could use Discord instead. Although we've had two different kinds of chat already (Steam and Wikia), I think we can still get some things out of it.

Steam is good. Steam is high quality. Steam requires money to use the voice, and make friends lists. 'You get what you pay for', as the saying goes. Steam is nice. I like it, I use it alot. Because I spend money on it.

Wikia is convienent. And Free. But Buggy. And like you said Wiz, we've really taxed it. :P I'm almost never on there now.

Discord is the best of both worlds. Free, High Quality, Voicing, Typing, Friending, and private. All for free and I don't have to download ANYTHING. That is awesome. :P OH, and we can put up pictures in the text chat. Oh, and it archives text conversations. (And maybe voice too? That I'm not sure...)

And it has emotes, for those of us who go nuts for emotes. . . I've tried to refrain since I heard the 'Emojii Movie' was a thing... GOOD GRIEF.

SIR PATRICK, HOW FAR THE MIGHTY HAVE FALLEN. O_O
