I see what you mean. It is a bit of a superiority complex thing to say, but then again he is sorta entitled to speak so, as the other humans are acting in a foolish way that he's not. If you confronted him about it, he might say that he does not decline the privilege to be called foolish as well, but as to the subject at hand, it is the others acting foolishly, not him. He can be foolish in different ways, so that balance is restored. But even as he'd say that, part of him wouldn't really believe it fully, as Wiz does feel superior to others at times in some respects. Even if an inner voice tells him he's not really superior, that doesn't negate the fact that the other inner voice says he is.
