I love the lastest installment of the PE's adventures! I especially like his superiority complex; it makes him quite interesting. :P

Although the word umbra by no means originated from Bionicle, whenever I hear the word "umbra" (or in this case, the name Umbra) I immediately think of the Umbra from Bioncle who was a protector of the Mask of Life. :P

"After walking a little, he looked up at the stars. They seemed to be mocking him, each of them shining as brightly as it could to draw his attention and then laugh at him for not being able to sleep."

Actually, here's how stars really feel:

These awesome flaming enties, hundreds of thousands of miles across, blazing at hundreds of millions degrees fahrenheit, illuminatng the heaves, are reduced to mere specks in the eyes of man! Their awesome power is disregarded. Instead, some ignorant, puny human will point out to his girlfriend a "little dot" that is especially "pretty" because it "twinkles." It is humiliating! These epic giants should be pointed out for their awesome power, their scorching heats, their deadly radiation! Not because they "twinkle!" Yet, as humiliating as it is, the stars still crave this attention! Yes, even being appreciated as a tiny little dot is better than withering away unoticed in the dark and lonely abyss of space. But this attention does not come easy. Each star must compete against billions upon billions of other stars for even a second of appreciation. The stars twinkle and shine as brightly as they can because they must vie for human attention! They know if they do not, some other star will, leaving them abandoned in the void of space.

This is why stars are so desperate for attention. They know that in space, you must claw your way to the top, trampling the rest, lest you be among those trampled.
