At long last.

Scattered Ashes cover, drawn by Haroldosaur, colored by Jonna

Should this have taken me so long to color? Uh, no. It's belated, but it's finally complete. At least it got finished before the one year mark since the intial idea was pitched. :D :P I'm pleased with how this turned out. Onto the commentary.

Chase: Chase needs to stop staring into bright lights, using his hand to shield his eyes will only do so much. :P I'm hoping I got his skin tone right.

Jonna: Excuse to play with pencils to make cool colors, yay! :P I enjoyed deciding on a color for her dress.

thedude: This is a really intriguing version of thedude. Very unlike how he's been portrayed previously, yet, so fitting. You may notice his eyes are a little bloodshot; that'd be due to the printer tinting everything red. :P Also-

thedude's crown: I consider this to be the CROWNING piece. :D -Collective groans- :P In all seriousness though, I now know how to color gold things, hooray!

Luke: I decided to make his eyes blue, because nothing else fit as well. You'll notice his beard is more reddish than blond. Confound you printer/scanner machine of doom.

Thingguy: I decided to make his eyes green because otherwise there'd be too many blue eyes and brown just didn't fit. I couldn't tell if his arm had a sleeve over it or not. Eventually I went with the sleeve, and chose the orange/silver color scheme based on his SA description. If that was an arm, not a sleeve, I should be able to go back and change it.

Talmid: Apologies are in order. Looking back, I realize I made the previous Sir Talmid pic really, really gray-haired! :P Sorry about that! I tried to make it only partially gray this time around, to reflect his age and stress, whilst not completely failing like last time. He's also looking pretty pale from the hard time he's been serving.

Vladek: The Vladhelm turned out excellently, despite how it constantly reminded me of Oreos! As for his glove, I only realized afterwards that it might have been just a hand. However, black pencil is a lot harder to erase, so whatever it was supposed to be, it's a glove now. :P

Iamos: Having the already colored version was nice, as it provided a good template. As for his shirt being really light, I'll adress that in a moment.

Stirling: Also going a bit gray. He's not in his youth anymore. :P

Backround: Took a long time. Had to do it twice.

The real copy looks much better than the scanned copy. Everything in the scanned copy came out rather washed/pale looking. :( Which is kind of a bummer, because I could use a better scanner, or something. That's why some parts look really pale (Thingguy's sleeve, Iamos's shirt, thedude's face [although that was pale in the first place]) when they aren't supposed to.

Anyway, this has gone on too long and I'm tired. :P I think I rambled on way too much. :P
