You may want to remove the email address's name, I once posted an address on a forum and got a boatload of spam on it. It's a good idea. I typically leave my main email up in a browser, but I'm interested in getting local-versions like old Google Talk or maybe coordinate with MS Outlook or Thunderbird. I suppose Steam also works for the purpose of knowing at least when we (want to appear like we) are online, but having Google Docs is better for coordinating a manuscript.
