I was afraid this would happen (people not wanting to make fffffplayer their enemy.) I understand where you are comin from. What I don't understand is why some of you distrust me. In what possible way would I benefit from deceiving you? Let's say that I suceed in creating this tentative alliance, but then I stab you in the back. Well, now every single one of you will be angry at me, and I will have only suceeded in making an enemy out of every other player in the game (including fffffplayer, since I created the anti-fffffplayer aliance :P). If I secretly asked you to join an alliance over Steam or something, then you would have reason to distrust me, because then I could easily backstab you without getting any of the other players involved. But the fact that I proposed this alliance publicly means that if I backstab one of you, I will be exposing myself as untrustworthy, making an enemy out of all of you. I mean, obviously you shouldn't blindly trust me, but I have nothing to gain from deceiving you. In fact, I profit much more from getting ffffplayer out of the way then I would if I backstabbed you guys.
Of course, if the alliance does go though, we will have to decide what the terms of the alliance are, when the alliance will be disolved, and other such things. But there's no use in discussing these things until after we see if there will even be an aliance.
@ James: While not having you in the alliance does weaken it, if everyone else joins, then we can probably get along without you. I won't force you to break your code of honor and go back on your promise to fffffplayer.
