King Matthias Minifig

King Matthias Moracol

King Matthias is a Main Character of Perpetual Doom. He is the one responsible for bringing the Knights of the Old Speech to Morcia. When being confronted by the superior powers of thedude at his front gates, he looked in the yellow pages for some mercenaries to hire to bolster his relatively small and untrained army. The one he chose was The Knights Of The Olde Speech, for their extremely low rates. And so the story began...

Appearance:

Personality:

King Matthias has a calm and even temper. He is generally a very forgiving and kind person. He is often described as mellow-tempered. This is not to say he is lenient in discipline. His life has had many life changing events, but his kind heart, gentle temperament, and forgiving nature have always stayed the same.

Abilities & Powers:

As King of Morcia, he has a vast network of associates. While he may not posses any extremely powerful or unique abilities naturally, (save the exceptional swordplay and shield technique any proper King has,) chances are he knows someone who does, and owes him a favor.

Quotes:

"Thou art to conquer the Paradox Rogues, and bring back my tender daughter." - King Matthias, charging the Knights with their mission.

"I will hold them off.  My daughter, you are a knight.  You must go with them." - Matthias, admitting to Jonna as not needing his protection, anymore.

“If I lack the strength and wisdom to defend my kingdom, then I don’t deserve to rule it,” ...“My people deserve a better ruler.” - Matthias, in hiding, speaking of re-ascending to the Throne.

Trivia:
