Hello KOTOS! Do you think that having someone murdered in cold blood in a scene in a book would be too violent for KOTOS? By that I mean one guy pins another to a wall with a gun up to his head. This one guy's friend threatens to shoot him if he doesn't stop. So the one guy drops his gun, then stabs his friend in the arm, takes the gun from the other guy, and shoots the other guy with his own gun.

Well there has been death in our stories before, and torture, including what's been posted on the LMBs.  I can imagine a not-too-gruesome depiction of that easily getting through even Lego's moderation.  I know the mods didn't like descriptions of stabbing in particular, maybe since you can't stab plastic-- I suppose the line was drawn at what's creates a bloody image and what doesn't.  "Smashing" is typically caused by impact damage / blunt force, and not really bloody.  That's my personal view if anything.  I've avoided particularly gory descriptions for awhile, but not always.

So I don't think what you want to write would be too violent.

K, thanks. I mean, I guess I imagined it not even as inappropriate, just really gritty. It's particularly dark, even by my standards. Not as dark as I can get though.
