Okay, the discussion has now become twice more complicated, as we are now also discussing Imagination Philisophies! Hurrah!
@Ninjago_Builders: First and foremost, you are to edit your previous post immediately after you see this, so that you can remove the abomination with which you started it. Wikia's automatic capitalisation of the first letter of usernames and titles is already too much for me. Do not add to the problem.
1. I am not saying that is cannot be used as energy source. I'm just saying it's not the equivalent of a battery. It's so much more than that. You say that one's abilities are powered by Imagination. I disagree. I think that one's abilities are provided by Imagination (at least some abilites).
2. If you are talking about Paradox weaponry, I don't think Maelstrom infected is the best term for them. They are Maelstrom-using weapons, as I see it. In any case, Paradox weaponry is designed to control the Maelstrom it uses/contains. If they caused Maelstrom to be spread that wouldn't be the case and Nexus Force wouldn't use them.
5. Imagination is a power with which minifigures are blessed (we're not considering the element or force, right now). It divides into passive Imagination and active Imagination. The former is what we call Lowercase-i imagination and the latter is Capital-I Imagination. Both are provided by the Imagination Force through the minifigures' possession of Creative Sparks. They are linked to each other in an inseperable way as no minifigure can have one without the other (speaking in LU terms, but not necessarily declining the possibility of this being a general truth). Also, to complete this Imagination Theory, the Imagination Force's projection on the physical world is the Element of Imagination, most notably known for its appearance in the cinematic trailer of LU.
6. It seems you are missing the point I'm making completely. I am against the anti-electricity idea as well, but I do not say that gunpowder, steampunk and clockwork would work in pre-PD Militiregnum, exactly because I'm against it. From the beginning, I have supported the anti-development idea, which states that the Sorcerer banned the development of all technology, meaning that Militiregnum was doomed to use the same static technology forever (or until the Enchantment was broken). That means that if gunpowder, steampunk and/or clockwork had been invented prior to the Enchantment, they would keep working. Otherwise, they never would (until the breaking). As for your queschon about why thedude did not use gunpowder/steampunk/clockwork (in the case they function properly), I have two things to say. Firstly, you don't know that he didn't. Secondly (secantly? :P), he did not use them (if he didn't), because he had better technology. Anything during and after PD happens with the Enchantment broken. It might be weak, but all technology can function now and thedude doesn't really need lesser technology. He might have some, though, just in case and for something fully functioning. Or he might not, because he does not realise it's fully functioning.
7. I don't think we need to address that. Let's consider it an abstract data type! :P
8. I know you made no eighth point to reply to, but this is something I forgot to mention earlier. While I may disagree with a full Outer Material idea, I believe that the post-PD enchantment should affect foreign technology further than it does Militiregnum technology.
@Talmid & N_B: I, too, am of the Respawn Area idea (shoutout to all of those who would never be the same after reading The Blue Haired Wonder). I can agree to a compromise, too, but the other way round to your compromise. While it is possible for minifigures (perhaps only the ones with stronger creative sparks) to rebuild themselves sporadically after they've unlocked their Imagination (so, the KotOS could rebuild once after catapulting themselves or the SS characters could rebuild after falling from that Lego City in the hooman world), especially when near the Nexus, but the Nexus Force would mainly use the Respawn Machines, because it can't be done too frequently (and maybe not anyone could do it). If for anything else, that would make the Faction War more dramatic (and Heroes of Malidor more valid), because the Rogues could shut down the Respawn Machines and then start smashing people for real.
