That makes sense to me. So magical new tech is accepted, while electrical tech (in your specific example, from outside the planet) is denied. Or at least undermined. Makes me wonder if electrical tech developed by Militiregnumites is also banned?
Also I don't remember if the curse only effects the western kingdoms (Morcia,Ankoria,Aquila,Britay,Elepharia,Souther,Isles) or does it influence all of Militiregnum.
