@N_B: I suppose your ideas are not bad. Perhaps, we could leave it a little vague. Perhaps, this is the only magic practiced in Morcia for a long time, but whether it's Morcia's inherent magic that formed the Book or the Book that formed the magicians' magic no one really knows. It would be an egg-chicken situation. Also, there could be other magic in the book, but no one would really know, because they never read it, so they might think it's only artefacts. But they could also be right. No one knows.
Perhaps, Talmid places it on one of his shoulder pads! :P I suppose it might be used, but it would need the right introduction.
