I believe we should get the SA preparation moving. I was thinking that we need to extend the general outline after the fixing of the map. How do the KotOS use it to find other people and how do they contact them? When they gather an adequate force (which consists of whom, other than KotOS?), what are their moves to dethrone thedude? We have neglected this matter.
However, we have been slow in general. We've been planning since April and we still haven't begun. We need to start making decisive moves. We have done too much planning and though I think the above is necessary as the skeleton of the story, I don't think we are in need of more planning. We can afford to be more spontaneous like in PD, without having its plot holes, as I think we now are a team of more experienced and coordinated writers. Thus, I think we are almost ready to begin. There are two things that will help everything start rolling, I think. The first is posting the new topic (if we are to post a new one). And the second is to determine who writes.
Once we determine who will write at this point, they can begin doing so (if they are not lazy) and begin the process. After that I believe everything will roll smoothly (as smoothly as we can roll).
I think we could name the new topic "Scattered Ashes, Volume II - Being the... " and as for the second point, it had been requested that Harold write the next chapter. However, he is not sure what he is to write.

The next chapter(s) are about the the hacking and the getting through the army. Having taken the piece, whoever writes the chapter may feel free to disclose any information about the map's origin and abilites (not more than they should, plot-wise). Once that's over Drum can write his chapter and then we can continue according to the order, with some exceptions:

Since I think Harold would like to write Iamos's introductory chapter, which would be close to the first chapters (and it would probably be one of the said exceptions), I think Harold shouldn't write the first chapter and we should instead give it to N_B according to the order. Another possible exception is that I'd like to write Dewin's introductory chapter and that might require the order's bending, too.
