I do understand that KK canon isn't necessarily KotOS canon, but we have been modling KotOS Vladek him off of KK Vladek, so I think it would be cool to give KotOS Vladek powers like KK Vladek. Maybe Vladek has been hiding his powers/sword's power so that thedude thinks him less powerful than he really is, in order to gain an advantage when he does try to overthrow thedude. We did characterize him as cunning and pacient, so I wouldn't put it past him to accept defeat at the hands of his enemies in order to keep his powers secret.
