It occured to me that one could simply read his namesake... Or was that Meraidoc? Who was it that bumped a rock into that well in the Mines of Moria, and who was it that 'just wanted to take a look' at the Palantir, but ended up resisting and then dicerning the mind of SAURON? (Halflings FTW!!!) Â I think I'm getting the two fellows mixed up...
