James! I see you have finished reading the first book of my series. How did you like it?
The first book was so wonderful to read, simply because I was able to "visit" those places again. *wistful* And they you added more depth, and gave the Universe more worlds. Â I really like the Idea of not being able to rebuild while being farther away from the Nexus. For, one has to remember, THAT Nexus is actually really REALLY young! :D
But I have to say, out of all of them, my fav. is the second one. I'm always good for a backstory, though. Always more deeply interested in the orgin of the characters than the Actual Plot.... :P Â Tottaly irrelevant point: I love the parting Scene with Ron.... For no particular reason... That I can think of... >_>
Out of the original 4, I like Magical the best. He doesn't have any SUPER superpowers, and his only talent is combat, which many MinifigURES (Now I know not to say minifig around you, (remembering when the team is escaping the Lair) :P ) have a natural talent for anyway.... But he still plays main key, and is awesome just being himself! Â BD
@LEGO WORLDS STEAM STUFF:
I would love to do that! but yes, Permission and such. Have you progressed much in Worlds? I'm afraid I dropped out of it awhile back. Â My computer wasn't running it smoothly as I had hoped. Â Still, I understand they've been helping with system optimizations... perhaps Now I can really build something big without it schetching on me. Â Either way, it runs... I'll get back to you soon on that.
Yup. Much much progression. From newbie to the Most liked user of the Classics subforum! :P I see you're fully caught up by now, so bravo!
What places? :P Though, for your information, I am going with the idea that the Nexus Tower only holds the Last Shard of the Imagination Nexus, not a whole Nexus.
What can I say, I always really liked the plot of the first book, though now I realise how terrible it is in other aspects (at least the first parts). I think there might be some plotholes and things that don't make that much sense in it, to. This is why I want to do a rewrite so much. But I also really like how the fourth book has turned out to be. It has a good plot, too. I think the problem of the second book is that it might not have as thick a plot as the others.
The irony of it is that in my first few chapters I use the word minifig, too! :P Actually, I think I originally intended to name the series A Minifig's Story, but then I saw there already was one such story and so I changed it to The Story of a Minifigure.
I can't say my favourite character is not Strange Odd Shadow, for he is. That's why I made a whole series about him. But what about favourite secondary characters? Favourite villain? Favourite original world? Any speculations about what happens next?
@Lego Worlds:
I understand that. Concerning my progression in LW, I think I had progressed quite much when I first played Lego Worlds. However, then I got lost and I couldn't go back to some of the original islands I'd been, where I'd made some really nice tunnels using the sorcerer's fireballs (even reached the bottom of the world! :P). So, that caused me to leave it for some time. But later, I thought I'd check it again, after they added some stuff. Unfortunately, for me, the game for some reason was in chinese! In an attempt to change the language, I pretty much pressed everything there was to press and accidentally erased all of my process. Thus, I am currently almost in zero progress. I just want to find that sorcerer guy again, so that I can shoot fireballs everywhere and destroy the Lego Worlds like I used to! :P
