Stirling paused just short of entering his tent. He turned back. "Thank you, I appreciate that." (he's surprised he forgot to ask. He usually makes a point of it. (To Return Home: Act 3: The Richardsons.) ) Stirling stuck a hand out to James. "Please, call me Strider."

(Perhaps the two shake hands, and the chapter ends there? *shrug* )
