Cyclone is infected by the Maelstrom and turned into a Stromling... but his mind is intact, and his desire to be disinfected. He meets Kate, another Stromling like him, and they set out to get the Faction Leaders help. Along the way they accidentally infect Cheerful Power Rover and Master Blade 9, who also retain their selves. During the journey to Nexus Tower, Cyclone, Kate, and Blade all experience real time dreams of their lives had they not been infected. After crashing in Nexus Tower and speaking to Vanda Darkflame, the Paradox leader shows them the source of their dreams: Cyclone, Kate, and Blade have overpowered creative sparks which created new selves when they were infected. All four Stromlings are disinfected and Cyclone and Blade are remerged with their doubles, but Kate's remains to be found. |
