Ah, I think I get it more now yes. Though I'm still not sure about the concept of Aiden just rebuilding like that. In the past, I have generally tried to explain the rebuild process by either the existence of technology like the SNG or by hypothesising that with a technique like SMASH one can essentially "gain more Imagination" by breaking themselves that they can then use to rebuild again. In this scenario, however, Aiden doesn't die willingly so it can't be the latter. In the first case, though, due to the difficulty of what is being attempted, you'd need to have a lot of Imagination and a healthy CS, I suppose. Aiden doesn't seem to have that considering Stealer just stole his CS and what his consciousness is connecting to is just a fragment. But now that I think about it, seeing as T-Aiden had planned this he'd probably prepared the appropriate system for the process. He could have something like an SNG station inside the self-dimension and filled it with enough Imagination to do the job. It'd still put a lot of strain on a hurt Creative Spark like Aiden's, but it could allow him to survive and rebuild I suppose. Yeah, I guess I can see that.

I mean more than horror you end up thinking about how convenient it is that Stealer's only killed versions of our characters that aren't relevant to our stories. And also... why you going and making more versions of my characters and then killing them without asking me?
