James Walters
James Walters is an employee of the C.O.D, husband of Rebecca Walters, and an inhabitant of the planet Chanora. He has served for five years as the Director of C.O.D Military Division. His current age is 39 years old.
Career in the C.O.D
In 1999 A.D. (8160 C.T.) James Walters joined the C.O.D as a military operative, and quickly became the top field operative. Starting in 2004 A.D. (8165 C.T.), James took the role of C.O.D Military Division Special Operative. Since then, he has participated in several high profile operations as a squad leader.

Actions during the Filoran War
During the Filoran War, James was placed in a direct combat role as a low ranking soldier, facing numerous threats. He took part in the raid upon the Filoran forward Intelligence Base on the Eastern Continent of Chanora.
The Accident
At 21 years of age, due to an incident with a malfunctioning prototype of the type 31 time travel watch, James was thrown into the very fabric of the universe, then bounced back. This caused his mind to be overwhelmed. He temporarily lost his memory (and sanity), and his existence became tied to his watch. This meant that he was an immortal madman. This led to a period of insanity in which he posed a valid irritant and threat to Galactic security.
Family
James married Rebecca Jefferson when he was 22, and a year later their daughter Sarah was born. His birth family is alienated as he was born under the oppressive regime of Filora. Â
Personality
James is, in his own words, "totally sane". However, COD Psychologists have diagnosed him with ADHD with obsessive tendencies. He is a polarizing individual, his youth leaving him with an unconscious desire to be in control of the room, putting him and others with a tendency to take charge in a position of contention.
Abilities and Powers
James demonstrates prowess with the handling of conventional firearms and plasma weapons, and some aptitude with the operation of computing devices. He has reasonable hand to hand combat abilities, but he prefers a fighter joystick or a pistol to a knife or baton.
