There certainly is interest, but getting it in a story format (if possible) would be most satisfactory, I believe. If I recall correctly, you once hinted the black-suited girl was a member of the Talmid family, didn't you? As for Eclipse, I have indeed been wondering what her significance is.
As for Kate and Intrepid, I've been suspecting that's the kind of route you seem to be taking, but Kate remains an important character for the story and Intrepid, so it wouldn't have been bad to see a little of her.
Overall, it's a very great book, I think.
