Interesting...so was Jonna's alliance with Talmid and Strider planned from the start? Or was it a spur-of the moment thing? Because if it was planned from the start that's quite impressive. Have Talmid and Strider threaten me and Blaze, forcing us to turn to Jonna, allowing her to manipulate our trust in her. Very interestng.
Well I'm in a bit of a pickle. :P
I knew that you'd betray me, Theo, but I was so confident that you wouldn't do it until after we stole Wiz's supply center...so are you actually allied with Wiz? Sure, you said that you rescid your alliance, but that could just be a public statement to throw us off. Still, the movement of your fleet to Londan is an agressive movement toward Wiz, indicating you aren't actually allies. I just don't understand why you wouldn't help me with my plan if you actually wanted to take down Wiz?Â
I see you're trying to take Denmark. That's fine, I was actually going to offer it to you since I'd rather that you have it than Jonna. But why did you leave Norway open for Jonna to take? Are you actually allied with her? That would be bad. Having three countries ganging up on me is bad enough, I don't need yet another. :P
Wiz, you say that I betrayed you in the worst possible way, but actually it was quite a brilliant plan, if I may say so myself. If Theo and Strider had gone along with it, you would have lost Belgium this turn, and then lost both Holland and Marseilles the following turn. You see, had Strider agreed with the plan, I would have moved Munich to Burgundy, supported by Ruhr. Strider would have moved to Piemonte and the West Meditaranian. Theo would have taken Belgium. The following turn, I would have used Kiel and Ruhr to take Holland, and then I would have used Belgium to support Piemonte into Marseilles. Of course, you would use Spain to support Marseilles, which is why strider would have attacked Spain from the West Meditaranian, disrupting your support. And just like that, we would have deprived you of two supply centers in a single turn, in addition to the one we got the previous trn. A much more effective way of getting supply centers than the brute force method Talmid and Strider have been applying against me, which still hasn't suceded in taking any of my supply centers. :P I am so, so sad that my backstabbing plot didn't work out. The only way it could have failed is if you didn't move to Holland this turn, and you did move there thanks to my sublte suggestions in Steam chat, so you played right into my trap. Although there is another way it could have failed, and that's where neither Theo nor Strider follow through with their part of the plan. :P
I honestly don't mind that you guys betrayed me. I'm just sad that you didn't wait to betray me until after my epic plan to defeat Wiz suceded. That's what annoys me. You ruined my plan, which I put so much thought into. :P I wonder if this is how King Matthias felt when the Aquilones backstabbed him... :P
BTW, Talmid supporting Jonna to take Silesia was a misplay. If Talmid had support Strider's attack, they could have taken Munich. But of course, that wouldn't allow Jonna to steal the lead, would it? By moving to Silesia, Jonna can then move her other army to Prusia, allowing her to take Berlin, and then follow up by taking Kiel. Strider and Talmid taking Munich, while a better move, wouldn't be adventagous for Jonna, who already has the largest number of supply centers and just needs a few more to have a definate advantage over everyone else.
I retreat to Galicia, BTW. I think Budapest would make nice vacation spot this time of year. :P
