Yay. I've been writing. For once. :P

“if you must know, it’s not that I don’t consider you unthreatening. But it is my belief that you, at least for now, have no intention of harming me.”

“Sound about right.” Confirmed Loden. “And you picked up on that… how?”

“If there’s one thing I know about men…” The girl rotated around, and began to glide down the hallway. “…they aren’t likely to harm someone they’ve been so blatantly making eyes at whenever possible.”

Damn. Caught out by hormones? That was a new low. Loden could feel himself beginning to flush crimson.

"Follow along, ye of proven masulinity."

So, author's commentary on these lines, because (at least in my mind) this is worth pointing out. I think this shows how Loden has changed as a character between now and what he will eventually become. Though he's still people-savvy, there are some gaps in the armour, if you will. Some stuff he doesn't yet know what to do/avoid doing to master his craft. The beginning of Full Spectrum, as it turns out, is a nice contrast to this, as he is able to flirt with Lavonne without the special agent having any idea what he's really thinking. I'm also going to be delving into Loden's perception of Miyuki, and how his "evade danger" mindset compares to her "face danger head-on" mindset - through, of course, a classic Loden Adalwin interior monologue.

TLDR: Look closely, and see character development. :P
