Thunderclap Keep

The castle of thedude was very large, but not very uniform. It looked as if it was still continually being added onto. Indeed, there was construction taking place on a new turret, and also on the cliffside of the Volcano wall, which the castle was attached to.  There was a discernible original square base of the keep, but added onto that were dozens and dozens of towers and turrets, wings and add-ons.

Summary

The Prisons of Thunderclap Keep is a prison compound. The Prisons are only part of the larger Thunderclap Keep, built into the active volcano known as Mount Thunderclap, or is it Mount Scary? Not to be confused with the Scary Mountains, also known as the Athelas Mountain Range.

The Prisons

The Prisons, deepset in the castle-like fort, are known to house Lord thedude's highest profile prisoners.

The Rest of the Keep

The rest of Thunderclap Keep is fairly grand and at times luxurious. It is a castle of thedude, after all, and must be fit for a king. Its balconies grant a majestic view of Morcia's hills, plains, forests, and the Athelas thanks to their altitude on the volcano. Calibus Tower can be seen to the east, and Orlan to the north-east.

Administration

Before 15 Yt, Thunderclap Keep was under the jurisdiction of Grand Warden Maleisus, but then he died.
