King Matthias Moracol

King Matthias is a Main Character of Perpetual Doom. He is the one responsible for bringing the Knights of the Old Speech to Morcia. When being confronted by the superior powers of thedude at his front gates, he looked for some mercenaries to hire in the yellow pages. The one he chose was The Knights Of The Olde Speech. And so the story began...

Early Life:

Matthias began his rule at an early age, after the sudden death of his father, King Marcus III. At first, he was an unsure ruler. He felt he could not measure up to the standards his father had left. Fortunatly, Matthias was not left alone. He had many helpers, the key ones being Lady Amelia of Calibus Tower, (who would later become his one and only wife,) and the Lord Vladek, a brilliant strategist, if a bit of a withdrawn one. These two, along with Matthias's naturally kind and gentle demeanor built a time of peace in Morcia. However, over the course of the years, Matthias and Amelia began to uncover a nefarious plot hiding behind this peace.

In between these years of peace, Lady Amelia and King Matthias married, and Queen Amelia became with child. When this news was announced, more and more 'Accidents' began to occur, and the nefarious plot that he and his wife had been trying to uncover for years quickly escalated, ultimately concluding in the death of Queen Amelia, and the revelation of her Murderer: Lord Vladek.

Knights Kingdom II Era:

With this terrible revelation, the "whole of Morcia would feel it's effects for years to come." Lord Vladek would assume the throne, leaving the public to question where their King had gone. Not everyone agreed on Lord Vladek being king, but there were many who did not care. Peace had left them lax. Dispite this, 4 knights, Sir Jayko, Sir Danju, Sir Santis, and Sir Rascus, rose up to defy Lord Vladek and his many Shadow Knights. Their adventures are long and many, but suffice to say, they had great success, and in the end King Matthias was re-instated as Rightful Ruler, and Lord Vladek was imprisoned.
