Summary

"Whilst I want to protect the people I care about, I have to admit that they can take care of themselves - and others - when I'm not there. I am friends with a bunch of knights, after all. If anyone can handle the trials that may come their way, it's my friends - the Knights of the Olde Speech!"

Jonna's weapon of choice is a knight's broadsword, though she has demonstrated the ability to fight with a dagger as well. Jonna's first canon appearance in the storyline was in chapter six of Perpetual Doom, entitled "Sir Jonna", in which she is confronted by Sir Thingguy and convinces him to teach her how to fight.

APPEARANCE:

Long and fancy dark brown hair, and dark green eyes. She wears armour whenever she gets the chance, though she has been forced into a dress a number of times.

PERSONALITY:

Jonna is described as "spunky and independent" by the narrative, and it is not wrong. She possesses a great deal of both courage and heart, and does many outrageous deeds such as running away from home and searching for a gate between dimensions. She also has a tender side, and cares deeply for both her family and her friends.

ABILITIES AND POWERS:

Jonna has no special abilities, but many skills. Horseback riding, swordfighting, storytelling, befriending talking fish, strategy and one-liners are but a few of her talents.

Or that's what we'd say, if Jonna couldn't speak to horses. But she can. So, here's a special ability.

QUOTES:

"I won't go back, I'm like a prisoner there!"-Jonna, to Thingguy when he tries to take her back to her father, King Mattias

"Could you teach me how to use a sword like that?"-Jonna, to Thingguy

"Make me a dame, then."-Jonna, when Thingguy refuses to make her a knight

"You can talk to horses too? Now I have proof I'm not crazy! My horse always says that I must be crazy because I was the only one who could talk to horses."-Jonna, when she overhears a conversation between Thingguy and Deadbeat

"Patience is a virtue."-Jonna

"You think I'd judge you because you're from a different plane of existence with green hair?"-Jonna, to Chase Powers

"I ran away shortly before Morcia's fall to TheDude. I was sick of being the pampered princess stuck in her castle."-Jonna, talking about her past

"I guess it would be Sir... Lady... Jonna, Princess of Morcia, Storyteller and Fugitive."-Jonna, when asked about her official title

APPEARANCES:

TRIVIA:

  • It appears that Lady Jonna has an irrevocable fear of Pizza. Of all flavors, but most especially anchovies.
  • Lady Jonna may or may not have a connection with the Lady Ruby.
  • Jonna may or may not also have feelings for Chase Powers.
