Summary

Kate is the second primary character in the Stromling Saga series. She is well-known for her red colored hair. Kate is unique in that her three-part name, Keen Carefree Brouhaha, is never mentioned in the original Stromling Saga stories, and is so far only referenced in Song of the Swans.

Appearances

Kate first appears in Chapter One of Servant of Darkness, introducing her as a main character to the entire Stromling Saga. She is a main character in every story of the Stromling Saga and in the series sequel Song of the Swans.

Personality

Kate originally fit the damsel in distress archetype and is often rescued by Cyclone, although the edits made to the wiki versions of these stories have toned down these traits significantly. By Full Circle, her bravery and independence have increased. She likes banter and sarcasm, and knows how to be motivational for those who need it.

Relationships

Kate, Cyclone, Rover, and Blade all maintain a close friendship throughout the entire Stromling Saga. While still having each others' backs in Song of the Swans, things have evidently changed during her and Cyclone's hiatus on Earth, as at times their relationship gets strained.

Kate and Aiden have a strange attraction to each other across dimensions. In the original dimension, this occurred after Aiden, with help from Red, retrieved Cyclone and Kate from Earth. Whether it will develop romantically is to be seen.

In the Future Dimension, parallel with the original dimension to a point, Kate and Aiden wed and bore a daughter, Rowana.

AlterKate

As a Nexus Figure, Kate's creative spark has the ability to completely duplicate her body and consciousness in case of infection, effectively giving her a second chance at life.

For unknown reasons, when Kate was infected, her creative spark didn't fully leave her original, infected body immediately. In time her disparate sparks sought each other out, with the weaker half getting passively reclaimed by the stronger half, to lethal effect. Before being rejoined, her second self somehow got infected again, spawning a third version who would leave the universe and become known as AlterKate, who would somehow end up on Earth. AlterKate's fate is otherwise unknown. </tabber>
