The Rhoddwr Marwolaeth, also known as the Rad Washing Machine and other names, was a space Battle Station built after the agreement of thedude and the Darkitect. Lord Enfawr was placed as supervisor of its construction. Maelstrom Beings, Skulkin, Paradox Rogues and Borg all took part in the process that lasted about ten years. The Rhoddwr Marwolaeth, which in Welsh means Donor of Death, has the destructive power to annihilate whole planets and seems to be inspired by the Death Star. It was destroyed shortly after it was finished when its deadly laser was deflected on a mirror on Nimbus Station and returned back to it.

Weapon Systems

Though it seems to be very similar to the Death Star (Star Wars), it actually is much more powerful. Firstly, being powered by a combination of Maelstrom and thedude's Grammer sword, its death ray is twice as powerful as the Death Star's one. Secondly, it is much more cleverly constructed, so that instead of having just one big gun, it also has many smaller ones. Around the main gun, there are fifty cannons capable of destroying almost all spaceships with one blow. On the opposite side of them, there are 25 more, while an extra 60 have been places in the formation of two circles crossing each other. Alternatively to loading the main cannon, the Battle Station can load up to 50 of these minor cannons, so that it can easily destroy fleets as well as planets.

Defences

Many are the defences thedude and the Darkitect have placed around and on the Rhoddwr Marwolaeth, for fear of its being discovered and destroyed, before it could strike. Aside from the countless Maelstrom Beings, Skulkin, Paradox Rogues (not many), Ewoks and Jawas guarding it, thedude also brought a shark and the Darkitect placed a Haedelra next to it. Of course, its whole surface is covered with even smaller cannons designed to fight Starfighters and rockets. Lastly, the Rhoddwr Marwolaeth is disguised as a Darneu orbiting Forbidden Valley.

Weaknesses

Again, unlike the Death Star, its core is protected so as it cannot be destroyed when it's blown up by a single proton torpedo or some other way. However, the Rhoddwr Marwolaeth still has a weakness against mirrors.

Trivia

• thedude has mentioned that he once stole the incomplete blueprints of a battle station when he travelled to another dimension, after which the designs of the Rhoddwr Marwolaeth were based.
• The Unverse Drive was developed in the same Research Facility with the Rad Washing Machine and it was used to bring new minions for Enfawr to use in the building and guarding the battle station, as well as new technologies and materials. However, its excessive use caused a dangerous spacetime rift near the Forbidden Valley.
