Galaz is the top face of Crux (in standard representation of the planet) and the one housing the Nexus. Many of the Crux System's core worlds originate from Galaz.
Geography
Galaz has a particularly varied environment with many different landscapes and climates all across its surface. One theory posits that the effect the Nexus has on the regions of Crux, so close to it, causes the inhabitants of the planet to unconsciously shape their own environment and that is the cause of such variety, which is especially prevalent in Galaz.
Galaz is home to many countries and lands including:
- Ainistra
- Dumania
- Mosaea
- Expia
- Halálország
- atheia
- Makreia
- Zytheria
- Gleswin
- Vârfuri ZÄpezii
- The Barrenlands
Notable sites include:
- The Batheian Sea
- The Makreian Sea
- The Ainunen Mounts
- The Magma Tops
- The Snow Tops
- other unnamed mountain ranges
- a bunch of unnamed rivers

History
TBD
Language
The Galazian language does not belong to any specific people, but its Old version originated in Gleswin in the time of the Figorani. While the people of Gleswin spoke Figoranol they also developed a local language at the same time. Gleswin drawing in a lot of Expians and Batheians joining the Figorani, their influence mixed in with the general Figoranol culture to create Old Galazian (or Gleswinal).
That was, however, the beginning of the language and while it originally had many similarities with Ancient Expian and Figoranol it developed on its own, so that by the middle of the 2nd millennium AF it had grown into Middle Galazian, a rather independent language. At that point, the Gleswin Figorani were gone and so the language had no specific owner, but it continued to be used in Galaz for official and diplomatic purposes as a sort of international language. It developed slowly henceforth, but it did not remain completely stagnant and thus it developed into what we now call Modern Galazian by 2800 AF.
It is to be noted that due to the colonisation of western Militiregnum by Gleswin Figorani in the 5th century AF, the same language was spoken throughout Siltion and curiously developed in much a similar way to how it did on Crux. Thus, very similar dialects are spoken now in western Militiregnum as are on Crux.
The so-called Olde Speech is based in part on elements of Middle Galazian, but is not actually the same.
