Added some more recent information about them. I guess that could potentially tie in with LJQ, too, but I'm not sure if those who joined are fully on thedude's side or if they're serving someone like Vladek with no true loyalty to thedude.

“I greet you, members of the Sorcerers’ Council! O, Council of the fools, as you should be called!"

- Wiz Ardon, the Peculiar Enchanter, 3027 AF

Summary

Based in Morcia, the Sorcerers, practitioners of magic and divination, saw themselves in their eyes as supervisors of events that occurred around them, involving themselves in manners explicit or behind the scenes if the possibility of a certain outcome, deemed unwanted by them, warranted their meddling hand. The Sorcerers Council was led by an elected Headman.

During the First Syntax War the Sorcerers chose to side with thedude against the Knights of the Old Speech, but thedude did not recognize their gesture of goodwill and eloquently ordered their deaths.

As of the year 3041 AF (15 Yt), the Council is disbanded with some of the surviving members having joined thedude's (and/or Vladek's) forces, some choosing to resist him and the majority retiring.
