Summary:

"The Balanced Guard" is a unit of thedude's Empire's most elite soldiers, combining the best of Militiregnum's every land and domain. The Balanced Guard's sole purpose is to defend Thunderclap Keep, Thunderclap City and thedude himself. It was first founded on June 13th, 5 Yt when the construction of the Thunderclap Fortress and the Thunderclap City first begun. Ever since, it has often received additions to its numbers
as more types of soldiers came under thedude's serving.

Current Status:

The Balanced Guard remains active to this day. It now consists of a mixed force of Paradox Troopers, Shadow Knights, Morcian Knights, Aquilone Horsemen, Britayan and Southern Sailors, Elepharian Elephant Riders, Easterling Semurians and Semeranis, Barney Bots, Red Mythrans, Scientists, Special Agents, Spies, Secret Police Enforcers, Sorcerers and Alchemists.

• Paradox Rogues: The Paradox Division's First Battalion made of the Paradox Division's a thousand most elite shocktroopers. Their use of superior technology sets them apart from any other warriors in Militiregnum and gives them a supreme advantage.
• Shadow Knights: The Shadow Knights are Lord Vladek's most trusted and skilful servants. Ever since December 4 Yt, King thedude forced Vladek to limit the number of Shadow Knights to ten. Typically, there are three of them stationed in Thunderclap City, ready to lead the medieval troops in battle.

        (not to be confused with the common foot soldiers that have at times served under Lord Vladek and have also often been called Shadow Knights).

• Morcian Knights: Morcia's soldiers traditionally specialise in melee combat and their Knights are especially skilled with the sword. Mount Thunderclap being located in Former Morcia, these Knights are the Balanced Guard's majority.
• Aquilone's Horsemen are the most efficient horse riders in the whole of Militiregnum. The Balanced Guard makes great use of them as skirmishers and scouts.
• Elephant Riders: Come from the exotic south of Elepharia, the large beasts known as elephants have a great capacity of bringing destruction and panic to the enemies, if one knows how to control them. That's where the Elephanters come in.
• Semurians and Semeranis: The discrimination against Easterling with everyone thinking of them as one is so great we couldn't even bother to make separate bullet points for each. Archery and swordmanship they're good, having a different style to western Knights.
