Mavijo Nation State

The Mavijo Nation State is a sovereign body governing the inhabitants of the Mavijo System, which they control.

History

The Mavijo people became space-faring in the 18th Century AD. From their homeworld of Mavijo IV, they colonized the other planets in their system. Shortly afterward they encountered the neighboring Morg Empire. They formed a strategic alliance that has lasted to this day, focused on furthering space exploration.

In the 26th Century both the Mavijo and Morg allied with the Forces of thedude and supported thedude in his invasion of the Milky Way Galaxy.

  • Mavijo III, a wet world natively inhabited solely by plants, colonized in 1836 AD
  • Mavijo IV, a majority desert world and the homeworld of the Mavijo people and capitol system of the Mavijo Nation State
  • Mavijo V, a gas giant with several moons, colonized throughout the 20th century
    • Vivica, a moon paradise

Government and politics

The Mavijo government functions as a democracy with both representative and direct democratic politics. This stems from the peoples' nomadic origins.

Demographics

The majority race of the Mavijo Nation State are the native Mavijo people, but over time other people have joined the nation. Morg are the largest minority demographic, because of the alliance. Other minorities are drawn to Mavijo by its tourism industry. The most diverse peoples are found on Vivica.

Economy

The Mavijo economy is primarily driven by trade with other spacefaring nations. Mavijo primarily offers practical technology for space travel and surviving a variety of different environments.

Mavijo also supports a thriving tourism industry on their worlds.
