Stromling Saga

The Stromling Saga is a series of short novels written by talmid and set in the LEGO Universe. The stories center on the characters Cyclone, Kate, Rover, and Blade, human minifigures who survived infection by the Maelstrom and in the process discovered the existence of Nexus Figures.

The saga exists in two trilogies and a series of spinoff stories. The Stromling Trilogy is the first three stories, Servant of Darkness, The Search, and Full Circle. The Sequel Trilogy is the next three stories, Fading Fast, Alone in Space and Time, and Darkest Night, which have been declared not-canon. The Spinoffs consist of multiple related stories leading up to the culminating Song of the Swans, the seventh installment of the Stromling Saga.

After Song of the Swans, the Stromling Saga is followed by A Series of Four.

The Stromling Trilogy

The Stromling Trilogy was written in early 2012 on the LEGO Messageboards forum, in the Stories of LEGO Universe subforum. It contains the only stories written before the closure of LEGO Universe on 30 January 2012. Servant of Darkness is the only story to be completed before the closure; The Search was also started before the closure, but was finished later.

The Sequel Trilogy

The Sequel Trilogy was written between ---- and ----, until its abandonment. Following retrospective dissatisfaction with the stories' general writing quality and handling of experimental concepts, such as time travel, alternate realities, size changing, and transfiguration, the Sequels have been declared not-canon and the final story of the trilogy, Darkest Night, remains unfinished. However, some aspects and events of the Sequel stories have been reintegrated in the Spinoffs and Song of the Swans.

Spinoffs

The Stromling Saga Spinoffs are several stories written between 2012 and 2015 in the same canon as the Stromling Trilogy and featuring supporting characters from it. Even for the stories that are unfinished, content developed in the spinoffs is reconciled for Song of the Swans in varying imports, ranging from minor references to guest appearances to major plot points.

Song of the Swans

Song of the Swans is the seventh book in the Stromling Saga and culminates the series, featuring the slew of characters from the Stromling Trilogy and its Spinoffs. It immediately follows the events of Transdimensional Maneuvers which established the expanded setting of Unverse. It is the longest installment in the Stromling Series with a final word count of 119,233.
