The '''Undine War''' was a brief conflict from late 2484 to early 2485 between [[Star Fleet]]'s [[9th Division]] and a marauding force of rogue [[Undine]] [[Undine Bioship|bioships]]. The conflict lasted for three months and ended after the main Undine fleet was destroyed in the final battle.<br />

On 15 December 2484, a rogue fleet of thirty Undine bioships attacked the Federation's [[Legola IV]] colony and devastated the entire planetary system. The first Star Fleet vessel to respond to Legola and battle the Undine was [[USS Talmidon#Talmidon One|USS ''Talmidon'']], which successfully diverted and destroyed three bioships before being crippled. After the battle, it was towed back to [[Alpha Centauri Fleet Yards]] by [[USS Generations|USS ''Generations'']].<br />

By the end of the month, Star Fleet directed ''Talmidon'' to lead the 9th Division, forming the anti-Undine armada. In the following skirmishes, the armada experimented with various weapons tech against the Undine ships, ultimately finding torpedoes modified with Borg Nanoprobes to be the most effective.<br />

Subsequent battles generally ended in Star Fleet victories, until towards the end of the conflict, when the Undine fleet was reinforced with an additional sixty bioships. By March 2485, the 9th Division had lost 16 ships and 24 were critically damaged.<br />

Captain Talmid reported observing persons of Space Pirate allegiance commanding the Undine vessels in the final battle.
